KIRONGGU, Inanam – In conjunction with the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the faithful of St Michael Chapel Kironggu organised a one-day pilgrimage to the Holy Doors at St Patrick Membakut, and Holy Rosary Limbahau on 31 Aug 2016.

The 135 participants were accompanied by Fr Paul Lo,  spiritual adviser of Lay Associations and Movements in the archdiocese.  He led the pilgrims to enter the Holy Door at St Patrick’s Church Membakut, followed by an hour’s adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

They proceeded to the Holy Door at Holy Rosary Church Limbahau, where Fr Lo presided at Mass for all  the pilgrims present: St Michael Kironggu as well as pilgrims from other groups.  He was assisted by altar servers and Extraordinary Communion Ministers from Holy Rosary Church.

Fr Lo commended St Michael Kironggu for their teamwork and unity despite the fact that they had been without a chapel for the past few years due to unforeseen circumstances. – Michael Guntil
