KK Archdiocese to hold Youth JOM

PENAMPANG – The next big event for the youth in KK Archdiocese after the 4th Sabah Youth Day in Tawau in June 2016 is the Youth Jubilee of Mercy (JOM) on Sept 15-17.  Around 1,500 youth are expected to participate in this event at the St Simon Educational Complex Likas.

Tentative programme for the event is as follows:

Thursday Sept 15
2 pm: Arrival/Registration
7 pm: Celebrating Youth Jubilee of Mercy
9:30 pm: Rest

Friday Sept 16
6:30 am: Breakfast
7:30 am: Arrival/Morning Prayer
8:30 am: Session 1 – Leadership of the Merciful Father
10:00 am: Break
10:30 am: Session 2 – Forum: Do not be Afraid. Be Merciful.
12:00 pm: Lunch/Rest
2:00 pm: Session 3 – Thematic: Blessed are the Merciful
5:00 pm: Break / Preparation for Mass
6:00 pm: Mass
7:00 pm: Break/Dinner
8:00 pm: Adoration
10:00 pm: Rest

Saturday Sept 17
6:30 am: Breakfast
7:30 am: Arrival/Morning Prayer
8:30 am: Session 4 – Agent of Mercy: Lord, make me an intrument of your mercy
11:30 am: Lunch
12:30 pm: Preparation for Mass
1:00 pm: Closing Mass
