TANJUNG ARU – SM La Salle here celebrated its patronal feast cum Teachers’ Day quietly with a Mass and fellowship on 12 May 2017.
Msgr Primus Jouil presided at the Mass at Stella Maris Tanjung Aru in the presence of around 300 past and present students, teachers, alumni, BOG, Brother Peter Foo, and some religious sisters.
The theme for this year’s celebration was Lasallians take the lead.
In his homily, Msgr Jouil exhorted the students to make the most of their studies so that they may become people who make a difference in society later on.
At the Presentation of Gifts, symbols of school life were offered along with the bread and wine.
After Mass, all adjourned to the fellowship centre for refreshments.
