TUARAN  – In its recent coordinators meeting at St John’s Church here on 19 Feb 2017,  the Archdiocesan Catechetical Commission launched a study proposal to upgrade the existing methodology of catechesis.

The proposed study, intended for catechists, parents and students at arch/diocesan and national levels, was the fruit of the Malaysian Catechetical Commission (MCC) meeting held in Pahang on 10-13 Oct  2016.

Aimed at upgrading the quality and methodology of catechesis, the study comprises a set of survey forms designed specifically for facilitators, parents and students in the faith formation programme.

The commission is calling all respondents to give their honest opinions so that the commission may be enabled to review and/or to re-write the catechesis curriculum.

The survey forms will be distributed to all arch/dioceses in Malaysia between March and June 2017. –Sr Dariah Ajab fsic
