CMI CWL ventures on first outreach to Kota Belud

KOTA BELUD – Members of the  Catholic Women’s League of the Church of Mary Immaculate Bukit Padang ventured on its first outreach to Kg Sogoh and Kg Malagkap here in October 2016.

The league headed by Jennifer Jinu,  were accompanied by Fathers Leo Choi and Felix Chung, who had recommended the two outreach destinations.

The group met in the home of Susan Shee where they loaded the goods in their vehicles before heading for Kg Sogoh.

They reached the village by 11:00 am where they were met by 12 Catholic families at St Martin’s Church.

Both the priests and members of CWL took turns to distribute the goods to the families, followed by a simple fellowship with some light refreshments.

They continued their journey and reached St Nancy Church Kg Malangkap by 1:00 pm.  They packed the goods for distribution to 32 families after a fellowship lunch.

Before making the trip home, they stopped by the Sistem Tagal Kg Malangkap Tiong for a short rest. – CMI SOCCOM
