CMI organises triduum in preparation for feast day
BUKIT PADANG – The Church of Mary Immaculate here organised a bilingual triduum of prayer in preparation for its feast day on 6-8 Dec 2017.
In spite of inclement weather, over 20 intrepid pray-ers faithfully came together to prepare themselves spiritually for their church’s titular feast of the Immaculate Conception to be celebrated on Dec 11 at 9 am.
However, starting this year until 2018, it is also a time to prepare themselves for the celebration of the church’s 25 years of existence.
The theme of the three-year-preparation is Celebrating Fidelity, Counting Blessings and Renewing Service expressed in the Prayer of Thanksgiving recited at the end of each night of prayer before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
On the third night, Father Joshua Liew took time to be with the pray-ers, exposing the Blessed Sacrament and giving the benediction at the end. He also joined in the concluding potluck fellowship.
