CMI-CLOW organises half-day camp for children

BUKIT PADANG – The Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) organised a half-day camp for children at the Church of Mary Immaculate (CMI) here on 12 Sept 2016.

Despite the inclement weather, around 41 children, with ages ranging from seven to twelve, took part in the camp themed Year of Mercy.

The programme consisted of a powerpoint presentation on the Jubilee Year of Mercy, where the children learned about the seven Corporal and seven Spiritual Works of Mercy.  This was illustrated in a fun game on Mercy and Meanness.

After the break, a 30-minute video entitled A Friend Named Jesus was screened.  The children were also given time to do some colouring on the Works of Mercy.
