Stella Maris DMA organises pilgrimage to Ranau

bonding

RANAU – The Divine Mercy Apostolate of Stella Maris parish made their second pilgrimage to the Door of Mercy at St Peter Claver here on 4 June 2016.

About 120 pilgrims went through challenging Stations of the Cross led by Sr Carol fsic. The reflections by Fr Nicholas Stephen gave courage and motivated the pilgrims to complete the 14 Stations on a hilly, muddy and slippery route. The youngest was a baby and oldest about 80.

In this journey, what struck them most was the realisation of their transformation after they had carried the Cross through the 14 Stations; that they forgave and be forgiven as they entered the Door of Mercy, and have their faith strengthened in the Eucharist. They brought Jesus home with them so that His love and peace might radiate through them to all they meet. The journey served to bond their relationships as they respond to God’s plan of bonding through His Mercy and Love! – Teresa Alberto
