TOBOH, Tambunan – The Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate Conception (FSIC) welcomed two more new full fledged members on 16 Jan 2016.  Sisters Lucynia Jeprin and Liza Anggie took their final vows as members of the congregation at Holy Cross Toboh here in the Eucharist with rite of perpetual profession presided by Bishop Cornelius Piong.  The Mass was concelebrated with thirteen priests including Fr Ambrose Atang and Fr Daniel Jomilong of KK Archdiocese and Korean priest Fr Leo Choi.

During the rite which took place after the gospel proclamation, Superior General Sr Grace Deosing accepted the vows, witnessed by Sr Terecia Laukang and Sr Dariah Ajap, and a congregation of around 500 people coming from three arch/dioceses.  The signing of the document by the neo-professed, the wtinesses, the directress of temporary professed sisters (Sr Joan Michael), the superior general and the bishop was done after Mass.  All then were invited to join the reception at the new parish hall.

Her third cousin, Sr Liza Anggie of Kg Tondulu Tambunan, was born on 15 Apr 1979.  She entered in 2008 but made her first profession together with Lucynia in 2011.  She will join the community in Tawau also after a short break.  She has a younger sister who will also make her final profession as a Daughter of St Paul later in the year.
