Sr Elizabeth appointed Fsp-Selangor Superior

PETALING JAYA: Sister Elizabeth John Jothee has been appointed local superior of the Daughters of St Paul here in February 2023 for a three-year term (2023-2026). She was installed by Provincial Superior Sr Delia Abian on Easter Sunday April 9 during the Holy Hour held at the convent chapel. The provincial came from Manila, together with the Provincial Bursar Sr Begildes Ebro, on April 2. They met the local community including new-yet-old member Sr Anna Yap who was assigned here 1994-1998, on several pertinent matters.

Sister Elizabeth hails from Silibin, Ipoh. Born in 1970, she entered the Congregation of the Daughters of St Paul in Petaling Jaya in 1995 and went on to Manila for her initial formation. She took her first vows in 2000 and made her final profession in 2006. Aside from West Malaysia, she has also served in the Philippines and in Sabah.
