SH Biblical Apostolate organises inaugural Bible Carnival

KOTA KINABALU  – The Sacred Heart Bahasa Malaysia Biblical Apostolate organised its inaugural Bible Carnival at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre here on 2 July 2017.

It was held in conjunction with Bible Sunday which falls on the second Sunday of July each year.

Numerous activities were organised for children and adults.

For the children, there were colouring and drawing competitions while for the teens and adults, there were jigsaw puzzles, calligraphy writing, quizzes, looking for the lost sheep, and others.

Prizes were given to all the winners.

On display were the different versions of the Bible (Jerusalem Bible, New Jerusalem Bible, New American Bible, Revised Standard Version, New Revised Standard Version, etc) and  Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC),  The participants were also taught how to distinguish the Catholic Bible from the Protestant Bible.
