SHC to organise parish-level Pentecost Triduum
KOTA KINABALU – Sacred Heart Cathedral here will organise a parish-level Pentecost Triduum in thanksgiving for the golden jubilee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) on 1-4 June 2017.
Based on the theme A New Pentecost for a New Evangelisation, the triduum will feature events in three languages: English (CMI), BM (SHC), Mandarin (F6/F8 SHPC).
The features include Holy Hour, praise and worship, talks, prayer ministry, confession/counselling, a presentation of the CCR growth, and testimonies by various individuals.
Invited speakers include Archbishop Joseph Marino, apostolic nuncio; Bishop Bernard Paul of Melaka-Johor, CDD Father Anthony Heng of Melaka, Mr Jude Antoine of Kuala Lumpur, Mr Joseph Masri of Indonesia, and Mr Maurice Awit of Kota Kinabalu.
The culmination will be on Sunday, June 4 at 1:30 pm when all three-language units will converge at the Sacred Heart Parish Centre for praise and worship, a video presentation of the growth of CCR and testimony and the Apostolic Nuncio’s address before proceeding to the concluding Eucharist at the cathedral.
