Sr Roseling Appointed Superior of Fsp-Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sister Roseling Siaw Chen has been appointed local superior of the Daughters of St Paul here in August 2024 for a three-year term (2024-2027).  She hails from Kota Padawan Kuching.  Born in 1973, she entered the Congregation of the Daughters of St Paul in Petaling Jaya in 2003 and went on to Manila for her initial formation.  She took her first vows in 2009 and made her final profession in 2015. Aside from Sabah, she has also served in Peninsular Malaysia.  

At the same time, Sr Jennifer Han has been appointed local superior of the community in Davao City, Mindanao, also for a three-year term 2024-2027.  Born in 1971 in Kota Kinabalu but grew up in Kinarut, she entered the Daughters of St Paul in Kota Kinabalu in 1994 and went to Pasay a year later for her initial formation.  She made her first vows in 2000 and took her final vows in 2006.  She has also served in Peninsular Malaysia, Philippines (Pasay City) and in Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Two months earlier, in June, Sr Rosalie Lojiu of Kg Tanaki, Penampang, was appointed local superior of the community in Lipa City, the cradle of the Daughters of St Paul in the Philippines, for a term of three years (2024-2027).  Born in 1951, she entered the congregation in Pasay City in 1971, made her first profession in 1976 and took her final vows in 1981.  Aside from the Philippines, she has also served in both communities in Malaysia, in the Vatican City and in Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia. – Sr.Ay,fsp
