Father Rhobby to take up higher biblical studies in Rome
PENAMPANG – Father Rhobby Aaron Majolou will take up higher biblical studies in Rome in the next four years.
After three years of priestly ministry at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Kota Kinabalu and St Paul Dontozidon, Fr Majolou is sent by Archbishop John Wong to take up a licentiate in Sacred Scriptures at the Pontifical Biblical Institute “Biblicum” in Rome. He will leave for Rome on 25 June 2017.
Born in Penampang in 1981, Majolou entered the seminary in 2005 and was ordained priest on 24 Feb 2014.
Fr Mojolou will be the fifth priest in the archdiocese to specialise in biblical studies after Fathers Francis Tsen, Felix Chung, Bruno Yasun and Paul Lo.
