Labuan LSS draws 140 participants

LABUAN –One hundred and forty participants attended the recent Holy Spirit Youth Seminar 2014 organised by Followers of Christ (FOC) of Marvellous Light of Yahweh Covenant Community (MLYCC). The seminar with the theme “Faith Forward” was facilitated by Royal Ambassadors Youth (RAY) of Light of Jesus Christ Covenant Community, Kota Kinabalu. About half of the participants were students from the Labuan Matriculation College and the rest were the local youth themselves.

Challenging the youths to courageously stand firm in their faith no matter how hare the obstacles may be, the Word of God from Joshua 1:9 “I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” rang out loud and clear.

Sessions highlighting God’s love, and on the Holy Spirit, were given to the participants.  They were also brought through a session on Inner Healing, and were subsequently prayed for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

The young people were encouraged to be unafraid to live out their faith, and to move forward with Christ in their journey of faith. – FOC Labuan
