KOTA KINABALU: A much anticipated church in the Kota Kinabalu Archdiocese is one step closer…
“The Holy Spirit Didn’t Send a Text”
PETALING JAYA: “The Holy Spirit didn’t send a Text” so ran the title of the talk on Artificial Intelligence (AI) organised by the Daughters of St Paul and the Assumption Communications Ministry at the Dewan Volle Hall here May 14.
The main speaker was Parish Priest Fr Leonard Lexson while members of the media ministry including Sr Elizabeth Jothee fsp also shared their takes on the topic.
Fr Lexson’s talk was based on Pope Leo XIV’s message for World Communications Day 2026 themed Preserving Human Voices and Faces in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and the call to becoming Pentecost People in a Digital World through responsibility, cooperation and education. In other words, we need not fear AI but learn to make the most of it in our lives and for evangelization by learning its language (how it works through algorithm). – Sr Anna Yap fsp
