Blessed-Fazzio-of-VeronaPilgrim and founder, also called Facius, Fatius, and Fazius. He was born in Verona, Italy, in 1190 and became an accomplished goldsmith.  His business opponents hated him.  So he moved to Cremona Italy where he worked and gave away his earnings to the poor.  Fazzio made pilgrimages to Compostela, Spain, and Rome.  Returning to Verona, he was falsely accused by his enemies, was arrested, tried and acquitted.  Immediately he returned to Cremona where he founded the Order of the Holy Spirit, a charitable group charged with the care of pilgrims and the sick.  He died in 1272.
